Process Integration Research Consortium

The Process Integration Research Consortium (Centre for Process Integration) was created in 1984 and is now formed by 26 major companies representing different aspects of the process and utility industries.

The Consortium provides a focal point for research and development of process integration methodologies for the member companies, and rapid technology transfer through software and training.  The School's relationship with the Consortium companies is close, flexible and productive and our links with industry ensure that our work is practically orientated and helps engineers to solve real problems.

A Research Consortium Meeting is traditionally held in October every year. This annual event's prime objective is to provide a forum for effective technology transfer to our sponsors. For further information, contact Professor Robin Smith by email:
