Affiliations

• Dr Grant M Campbell is also a member of the Satake Centre for Grain Process Engineering, which aims to explore and exploit food, feed and novel uses of grains.
• The Centre pioneered the development of distance-learning MSc programmes; these are offered by the Centre, and also as joint programmes at a number of universities worldwide, including Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Malaysia and KN Toosie University in Iran.
• The Centre has played a prominent role, including project co-ordinator, in a number of collaborative projects, supported by the European Union. Since 2001 there have been 22 EU projects, facilitated by Project Officer, Dr Jiri Klemes, involving 156 partners from 29 countries and corresponding to research funding of €3.4 million.
